Are you out of Balance?
MANY people are nutritionally out of balance without even knowing it. One of the most frustrating situations is being in the "starve and binge" cycle that comes from eating too much of one kind of food and not enough of another.

The trick is to nourish ourselves with small balanced portions of protein and fiber, make sure we are getting our daily requirement of essential fats, and avoid hydrogenated and trans-fats.

This is not as hard as it sounds and the good effects come almost immediately. There's nothing better than feeling well-fed, but still being able to lose extra pounds or maintaining a healthy weight. Exercise and good nutrition go together. The better we eat the more energy we have to move and challenge our bodies. But many of us find it hard to "go it alone." We need the positive reinforcement that only comes from sharing our journey with others. Reach out! You will find both people to help you and people you can help. That's really what this Website is all about.
